Mazda Repair: starting problems, napa auto parts, battery cables

Question
There is a rapid clicking noise from left of engine compartment when the key is turned but the engine will not turn over.  The battery has just been replaced 1 month ago.

You will need one or all of the following things.

A starter,

Battery cables,

A battery



I suggest that if you can get it running and take it to a local Napa auto parts that you do so and allow them to test your battery for you. The tool they have "Miditronics, cost $1000 works the best " will be able to diagnose any ailment. Have someone give you a jump start to see if that solves the problem and then have them follow you to the store. I am going to make an assumption that the battery is the culprit and despite it being brand new it is still possible that it is defective.
