Mazda Repair: Where is the Thermostat, 2000 mazda mpv, upper radiator hose

I was wondering where is the thermostat located at on a 2000 Mazda MPV?  and Where is the Thermostat housing cover

Answer
Go to parts store; buy a repair manual for it. Their is a specific system to filling and purging coolant systems on newer cars and trucks that can have disastrous effects if done improperly or not at all.

Other than that, fairly simple, follow the upper radiator hose and you should find it. I say should because this is the most common location and I have not had a chance to work on an MPV for quite some time.
