Mazda Repair: 93 Mx-3 stalling out sometimes, mazda dealer, service bulletins

Question
I bought this mx-3 about a month ago and ran fine and then about a week ago i put it in reverse and it died on me, and then after a couple of tries it cranked back up, but my RPMs are real low.  It keeps doing the same thing except getting worse and dies all the time now.

Answer
Hi Erik thanks for asking.
This sounds like a case where there may be a broken wire somwhere, once load is put on an engine and something happens that is a sign of an electrical problem, but there is a slight possibitly of a bad IAC motor or even an EGR vavle, unfortunatly without looking at the vehicle I can not give you an accurate answer. Take this vehicle to a Mazda dealer and see if there is any recalls regarding this situatin or service bulletins, Maby you will get luck and it will be a free repair, but it is a slim chance, and the mazda dealer will be able to tell you quicker what the problem is when they look at it.
Good Luck
