Mazda Repair: key stuck in ignition Mazda MPV, key stuck in ignition, mazda dealer

Hello I have a 2001 Mazda MPV. Lately the ignition key will not turn to the position to remove the key. I have to jiggle the gearshift to be able to move the key to the position to remove it. What can be causing this and how can it be repaired?

Hi J soto thanks for asking,
this sounds like an internal problem with the tumbler, unfortantly the Mazda dealer is going to have to replce it, because after installed the vehicle will not start untill securitly acces is granted to the key via IDS (Computer) has to reprogram the keys to the new tumbler.
