Mazda Repair: AC Leaking, road debris, sealent

new compressor and charged  w sealent.  The mechanic wants to replace the evaporator...is this right?  Charge is not holding!

Hi Kevin thanks for asking.
If the charge is not holding then there is a leak somewere for sure. An evaporator is one of the most comon AC componenets that has to be replaced because it does take alot of abuse from road beris, it is placed right infront of the radiator, and while driving road debris hits the condensor all the time, so i wouldnt be supprised that this need to be replaced,
