We have a 1994 Mazda MPV van. The passenger side power window will go down but will not come up.  It will only go down using the passenger side control, not the master control at drivers side. The motor makes a noise when activated to go down but no noise when the switch is moved to the up position.  The window is down now. Is there a way to manually raise the window ?

electrical problem are always a hassel,, It is confusing and time consuming to find the problem. But the first thing that has to be done is the power and grounds are going to have to be checked at the switch, that will determin if the switch is dead or if there is a problem with a ground wire or a power wire. With the problem wire the wire will have to be traced and checked for resistance. This is next to impossible if you do not have a wiring diagram. This is something that you may want to consider a proffesional look at
