Mazda Repair: dash air bag light for a b4000, clock springs, ny state inspection

i recently had my ny state inspection performed on my B4000, after the inspection while I driving, the air bag light started to flash and then stayed on, do i have a way to reset it and why did it come on.

Hi monk, this vehicle must hae been in a an accident. when the airbar light flashes and stays on ther is definitly a promblem. I have seen many clock springs go on these vehicles, take it to a mazda dealer for a further diagnosis. there is not mch i can do about this over the web
