Mazda Repair: muffler system, muffler system, motorcycle sound

Hello, my 94 mazda sounds like a motor cycle from inside the car when your driving down the road. My mech. said that there was nothin wrong with the system.  Why do you think it sounds like there is a hole in the muffler, thats the first thing a passenger will mention when I give someone a ride, God, your mufflers LOUD, any advise is appreciated, thank you!

Alright now there doesnt seem to be the same noise coming from the engine it's self does it? When you say it sounds like a motorcycle what does it exactly sound like? Is it a high pitched noise or a noisy clicking sound or anything like that. It could be that you might need a new CAT. but write me back and let me know what you mean by a motorcycle sound and if it can be heard coming from the engine it's self.
