Mazda Repair: Rear Defog repair, auto repair shops, glass shops

Question
The connector that attaches to the rear window, enabling voltage to go through the rear defog was pulled off accidentally. What is the best way to reattach? Auto repair shops refer me to glass shops...Glass shops refer me to body repair shops, who in turn to refer back to auto repair shops. Can this be soldered using silver solder?  Will it get to hot? Or can I use a dielectric glue of some sort and would the local auto parts store carry the right stuff? Any help is appreciated. Thanks in advance. Scott

Answer
I imagine that you could try to solder it but I think that it might be a little hard to do so. The best thing I would suggest to do is to go with the glue. They do have types of glue for situations like this and yes most part stores should have what you need I really doubt that they won't have what you need. Another thing is maybe going to the dealer or maybe a junk-yard and pulling off what you need if for some reason the glue doesn't work right.
