Mercedes Benz repair: 1985 Mercedes 300D power windows, hairline crack, blown fuse

The power windows in my 1985 300D all stopped working . I checked the fuse box ,but did not see a blown fuse. How should I troubleshoot this problem ? Where should I look for the problem ? Could a fuse look good and still be the problem ? where can I find troubleshooting information for this problem ?

get a multimeter and confirm that it is not your console switches.otherwise you may have a bad relay by the fuse box it should say windows power windows and other components check to see if the other componenets work. swap out the old relay with one that is the same in your fuse box or buy a new one they are relatively inexpensive. and yes the fuse could still look good and have a hairline crack in it.
