Mercedes Benz repair: car juddering, side cutters, right cylinder

hi, i have an 86 mercedes 500sel, the problem i have got is when the car gets warm it judders between 1200- 2000rpm. The cruise control has also stayed on, (which was eye opening) so can you tell me how to disconnect. many thanks

Greetings!  And sorry for your luck!
You can take the dash panel down on the drivers side and find the silver box with 14 pins. You have can disconnect it there or underneath the hood in the engine compartment.
The car probably needs an air slide vaive or idle speed control unit. You can also disconnect it under the hood. Looking at the engine from the front, You will see a actuactor with a rod going to your accelerator on the passenger side of the engine and is bolted to the right cylinder head. This is located to the front of the head. Get you a pair of side cutters and pop the little eyes loose at each end. This disconnects the linkage going to the cruise control.
