Question
I have a 1985 300D Mercedes Benz. Something in the suspension is not right. The car’s handling becomes "loose" at speeds of 65+ mph. It often "floats" around like some part of the suspension is worn out. What should I look for when I inspected the suspension? Thanx for any help.

You will need to read most of these links to do any  inspection.
The local MB dealer will charge one hour labor to inspect your steering, and supply a list of what is bad.
Note:
Only the MB dealer can correctly align your car, a special tool and training are needed.
