I was told i need to replace this....Can you tell me where it is located on mercedes 210.....96 e300....Is this something that the shadetree mechanic could do himself.....thank you for your time.....mark

As I recall, you must have the MB scan tool + security up-link subscription to install this module or the car will be dead = dealer only.
