Mercedes Benz repair: 87 560SEL From Mothballs, aviation fuel, paint job

Question
'87 560 has been sitting for 12 years at a buddies body shop after I left it for a paint job and got transfered, etc. and basically got distracted! It was in sound running order when I left it and due to the sale of my friends property he delivered it to my home on a flatbed in "as it is and was shape"! I would like to know what steps to take to get it back running without harming any major motor parts. I've changed the oil, added fuel dryer, fuel cleaner and added about 2 gals of 100 octane aviation fuel to what appeared to be the 2 or so gals. that were left in the tank. It turns over but but quits as soon as it's fired the ether up. It doesn't appear to be getting fuel and I could use some suggestions. I've checked all fuses as I'm not sure if it has a mechanical or electric pump and all are good. I don't know where the filters are and would basically love some advice. The car has 112K but used to run perfectly and I believe it can once again.
Thanks for any advice you can provide.

Answer
Try these, in order, one at a time...

#1. Replace all fuses with NEW...

electrical problems or gremlins

#2. Drain the fuel tank empty, replace fuel filter, add fresh fuel..

#3. Replace fuel pump with new.

When all of this has been done, if it still fails to run, contact me ASAP.
