Hi;I have a big problem with my Mercedez 190E/1990.When my car is cold I have to start my car for about 5 minutes to crankup the engine. If I press the pedal the problem goes worst.I have to leave the fuel pedal intact. And if I left my car for about 5 minutes I have to start my car for about 5 minutes again to crankup the engine.I replaced the fuel filter but the problem persist.I am really appreciate any help, and Im sorry for my bad English.

1990 190E
Trying to understand language used.

#1. The engine will not crank for five minutes?
#2. Engine starts and runs bad = touch pedal and it dies?
#3. Engine cranks many times over five minutes, then starts?

The Engine cranks many times over five minutes, then starts but if I press the pedal the engine dies. But,if I leave the engine on for about 10 minutes the car works great without any problem. But If I turns off the engine for about 20 minutes,I have to crank the engine many times again. And Thanks Again
