Mercedes Benz repair: 1989 MB 300SE, 16 inch rims, performance suspension components

Question
Dear Mr. Hunter,

Purchased exquisite exterior/interior car at 2004 Fall Carlisle show - have replaced water pump, radiator, all coolant hoses and tank, 16 inch rims (up from stock 15 inch), brakes (rotors and pads), shocks.

I now want to improve horsepower.  Have you ever heard of anyone putting a supercharger on this 6 cylinder engine?  Or some type of blower?

Also, what about adding performance suspension components, especially "jacking up" the rear with leaf springs or air shocks?

I'll be doing all the mechanical work myself.  But can't seem to find any guidance from people who may have tried these things before.

Thanks!

Best Regards,

Jim Vinarski

Answer
Sorry.
I work with stock = OEM and show cars, not modified class cars.
