QuestionBefore I remove these parts, I need to know the safest way to deal with the fuel filter, srater and the distributor. Car would not start, no cranking noise. The battery in new and all the lights work. When I jump the car then it starts.
Then my next problem is my car does not run smooth also the same on idle.
AnswerBefore you do any work:
#1. Clean battery + terminals.
#2. Check the ground cable from engine to body.
#3. Check that battery label says 700 CCA or higher.
#4. Remove battery and have it tested.
Use heavy jumper cables from negative battery to engine block; try starting engine.
Bad engine ground will effect everything.
