I wanted to find out how to install a clutch fan on a 1977 450sl Mercedes and also where to order the part.

#1. Remove fan shroud.
#2. Loosen V-belt for coolant and power steering pump, and remove.
#3. Remove four bolts from viscofan clutch flange.
#4. The viscofan coupling, part No. 000 200 07 22 has been replaced by viscofan coupling,
part No. 117 200 01 22, the new viscofan coupling must be installed with new coolant pump,
part No. 117 200 03 01, the new pump is identified by five reinforcing fins on bearing housing.
