Mercedes Benz repair: 1975 240D shaking, 240d, fuel filter

Question
I drive a 1975 240D and recently had a problem with the car shaking as soon as I started it up. What happens is whenever the car is in drive or reverse, but my foot is on the brake and the car is not moving, the entire engine shakes. It stops shaking once I get moving, but the shaking is pretty violent. When I come up to a stop light, the car will just start vibrating really badly until I get going again. It came on just a little while ago and seems to happen every other day. I live in Phoenix and have had the AC going on blast for the past couple months, maybe that has something to do with it. The engine still does the shaking though when the AC is off. What is it and how can I fix it? Thanks.

Answer
Answer:
#1. Bad engine mounts?
#2. Fuel system leak sucking air in?
#3. Plugged fuel filter?
#4. Rack Dampner pin bad?

For a Rack Dampner pin, call Phil for price, it is not online.
