Mercedes Benz repair: tire change, grease the wheel, wheel bolts

Question
this sounds like a dumb question but how do I remove the rim from a ML320 - I lost the owners manual and when I remove the lug nuts I can't pull it off?

Sounds like corrosion welding.

#1. Support the vehicle upon jack stands.
#2. Remove wheel bolts.
#3. Install one wheel bolt, not more than three turns of thread.
#4. Use a large mallet or sledge hammer to pound upon the tire rubber from the inside = under the vehicle.
#5. Rotate the wheel 90 degrees with each stroke of hammer.
#6. Grease the wheel and hub before installing.
