QuestionIt is a straight 300E, 3.0 Liter.
I took the wheels off and saw the uneven spots so should I still drive it around for a week to see if they go away?
The reason I'm trying to get it into better shape is so the potential buyer can't bargain me below $4K. If I do the brakes myself, I can save about $300.
Do the wheel bearings need to come apart to change the rotors?

Hello whunter, I am about to sell this vehicle which has been
sitting around mostly for the past 2.5 years. Now the brakes
make a shooka shooka sound. Is this something I can fix
without removing the front drums for resurfacing? Should I just
drive it around for a while to see if the rust will all come off and
the sound go away. I suppose I could take it into a brake place
but I don't want to get hoodwinked into a new set of drums
when I'm about to get rid of it. Thanks for your help!

Front wheel bearing hubs must come apart to change the rotors.
Rear rotors only require caliper and retaining screw off.
