How much will it be to repair/restore valve stem seals, timing chain, tension rod, brake discs, and steering box.  Again, on a 1983 230CE.  Thanks so much.

To replace the valve stem seals is expensive. The head must come off and must be redone. This can cost as much as $1,000.00. the timing chain can cost as much as $400.00. The chain tensioner can be $275.00. The disc brakes will be around $600.00 if you do all four. The steering box can be another $600.00. Nothing is cheap on these cars.
