Mercedes Benz repair: 300D Shocks, shock tower, plastic cap

Mr. Tim Thank you for your previous advice. I have successfully completed the removal and instillation of the front shocks but I am having a little trouble in changing the rear ones, please explain what I should do, I have looked in the trunk as you said before but I could not locate the upper bolt, do I have to remove the rear seat? I think maybe I should remove the fuel thank? I don't know what to do Please Help!!

Look at the deep corner of the trunk. There should be a plastic cap covering the shock tower. Remove the cap and will expose the shock. If it is no there then look underneath the car and follow the shock to the top and locate the top nut. It should be fairly easy. Good Luck and be careful.
