Mercedes Benz repair: wheels, lug nuts, electrolisis

Question
Hello I have a 1987 560sel.  I went to get my brakes checked and the technician could not get my wheels off.  The lugs would not come off in the front on both wheels which I thought was odd.  Usually its one or two lugs.  But in this case it was all of them.  The tech said that he will have to break the lugs to get them off.  My question is, Is there a problem within my wheels that may have caused this to happen? And to break off the luge what parts would I need to replace,  To put my car back to normal?   Thanks

Answer
I find it hard to believe that he can't get the lug nuts off. You can use a breajer bar to get them loose. Usually what causes this is electrolisis or rust. It is not impossible to get these off. You can use Anti Seize compounds on the threads to stop this in the future.
