MG Car Repair: 79 MGB - brake lights not working
Questioni recently noticed my brake lights aren't working. Lights work,turn signals work, hazard lights work. Where is the brake pedal switch ? Seine told me its next to the clutch master cylinder. On my 79, their a black box in front of that cylinder. Is it underneath the black box ? Thanks for all your help.

Hi Joe.
On a 79 B, under the hood there is a big black box covering the tops of the pedals. The switch is screwed into the outside of the box. It has two green wires going into it.
Sometimes the switch needs replacing, sometimes it merely needs adjusting. The amount by which it is screwed in is the only adjustment.
