MG Car Repair: rear brakes adjustment

Question
Hi Barrie,

Referring to your last answer, do you mean  driving 100 miles in the current situation or after having re-adjusted the brakes ?

I did have the impression though that the brakes were responding very good, but if you advice to reduce to two clicks (and allow some rubbing), I will do this anyway!

Answer
Hi Pierre

So long as the brakes are working properly and it feels safe, drive the car as it now is.

After 100 miles, then adjust the brakes.  Normally, you lock them solid and then undo the adjuster one or two clicks.  If they still rub a little bit, that is OK.
