MG Car Repair: MG TF wire wheels, chrome wire wheels, moss motors

Although its not recommended I plan on installing direct bolt chrome wire wheels on my 1954 tf. Do you know where I can get the necessary wheel adapters? I prefer use the bolt on splne type adapter  is this possible?  Thanks   Ted

Hi Ted.  The original TF hubs, brake drums and wheels are all available as a kit from Moss Motors.  

If you want to go down the bolt-on adaptor route I am not familiar with the market in the USA, but I do know that the adaptors are sold by Motor Wheel Services in the UK.  The cost of shipping a set of hubs would not be too great.  I suggest you contact them via this link:

Note that the rear converters are different from the front ones.
