MG Car Repair: Prime Carburetter 79 midget, carburetter, fuel issues

Hi Howard,
My midget doesn't run because of fuel issues.
I've diagnosed? and would like to prime the carburetter, like when I was a kid.
Can you help me with the proper procedure?

Hi Rand,
Prime the carburetor? I have no clue what you are talking about. If you mean fill it with fuel because it is empty for some reason just spin the engine over with the starter and it will fill it. If you mean "Choke" it then it has an automatic choke so nothing from you is required.
If you have been spinning it over and no fuel is getting into the carburetor than you need to check the fuel pressure of the pump. (1.5 to 3 PSI)
