MG Car Repair: MG Midget Brake Adjuster Frozen`, rear brakes, mg midget

I am reworking rear brakes on a 1974 MG Midget. The adjuster on one side appears frozen. Any suggestions. PB Blaster and heat have been applied?

Hi Don,
I have seen a few that seemed to be rusted solid and I am sure if enough pressure was applied it would have twisted the adjuster off. I did on the tough ones remove the backing plate and applied heat with a torch and cooled it down and reheated it red a couple of times and got it loose. If that don't work it is time for a new brake plate.
