MG Car Repair: TURN SIGAL POWER RELATED TO HAZARD, turn signal switch, hazard switch

Question
Hello, i have a 77 mgb that i just bought, i see by reading a previous questions here that, my turn signal switch works fine, but my hazard light is stuck and does not toggle, thus my turn signal is not getting power, is that right? also are the switches wired together so when one does not get power the next in line will not also,(because my blower toggle switch toggles but does not start the blower) Thanks in advance! Charles

Answer
Hi Charles,
Check for power into the hazard switch (green wire on pin #8) with the key on. Then check for power out to the turn signals on the green wire on pin #7 out of the hazard switch. This will tell you if the hazard switch is the problem.
As for the heater switch check to see that the switch has power with the key on and then check to see if the power goes out the other pin when you turn the switch on.
