MG Car Repair: Removing Bonnet, man job, time howard

Hi Howard, I am going to remove the Bonnet on my MG Midget to install some heat material that needs to be glued on.  This is a delicate matter I don't want to mess it up . what is the best way to both remove the bonnet and reinstall? I know it will probably be a two man job and do appreciate your advice . The only proper way to secure this material is with the Bonnet off. Thanks for your time Howard.

Hi Bill,
It is best to mark around the washers with a fine point marking pen, this way you don't have so much trouble adjusting the hood for alignment when you put it back on. Yes, it is best to make it a two man job as it is a hassle to do by yourself.
