MG Car Repair: 72 midget negative tire camber, negative camber, mg midget

Question
Howard,
I notice my front tires are wearing on the inside of the rim. How do I change the angle of the camber to a less severe negative angle?  Do I need to rebuild the shocks, change the springs, or the folcrum pin??
Thank you,
Mark

Answer
Hi Mark,
Did you actually measure negative camber? Or are you basing the tire ware on negative camber? There is no adjustment to camber on an MG Midget. If you actually have negative camber it could be any of several things, loose shock mounting bolts, king pin bushings, upper and/or lower fulcrums, Lower "A" frame bushings.

But before you do anything, check toe in adjustment as that is the more common cause of inside or outside tire ware.
