MG Car Repair: L-joint for speedometer cable, speedometer cable, roadster factory

I'm not sure what exactly to call this part, but the L-Joint for my speedometer cable that comes out of the gear box and onto which I then attach my speedometer cable has broken, I want to know is it possible to repair this part myself? How does it come appart because i don't see any screws that hold it together. Thanks.

Hi Colin,
That angle drive does not come apart for repairs and even if you got it apart no one has any parts for it. The drives are available from most of the British parts suppliers like, Engel Imports, The Roadster Factory, Moss Motors, Victoria British and British Parts North West to name a few. They all have web sites and toll free numbers.
