MG Car Repair: fuel filter, full tank, tool truck

Question
how do I replace the fuel filter on an 80B?  Is it as simple as crimping the lines, or do I have to relieve pressure at the fuel pump?

Hi Jeff,
If you have a full tank of fuel you can get a flex fuel "line clamp off tool" from any tool truck, or some mechanics use a small pair of needle nose vise grips and slid an old piece of hose over the two jaws so as not to damage the fuel hose that you want to crimp off. either one works well.
