MG Car Repair: 74 MGB Brake Master Cylinder Bebuild, brake master cylinder, nylon washer

I'm having difficulty removing the piston after the spring and C-clip are out. The only thing holding it in is the nylon washer behind the C-clip. It won't pull out. Any suggestion.

Hi Michael,
If you are talking about the white plastic ring under the washer and clip, You need to take a small thin sharp screwdriver and a hammer and break up the plastic ring. I use a small flat blade screwdriver that I have sharpened just for doing those cylinders.
