MG Car Repair: 1978 MGB not starting, sun light, mgb

Question
The car ran fine last year but when i started it this year it still ran rough so i changed plugs rotor cap & wires.
Now the car will not start i do have spark & fuel.
The spark seems weak do you have any checks or readings for the coil.

Answer
If you don't have access to a scope, the only test you can do is a rough test of connecting a plug wire to a plug and lay the plug on a metal part of the engine and spin the engine with the starter and watch the spark (not in the sun light) The spark should be thick as a pensile lead and colored blue. If the spark is thin like a hair and colored yellow or orange, it is usually a weak spark.
