MG Car Repair: MG Midget rear springs, u bolts, light car

Question
Hi, I recently changed both rear springs,shackles,U-bolts etc.Now the car seems to be leaning quite a bit to the drivers side on the back. Someone told me I need to change the front Springs now to correct the problem.I need your advice. Thanks.

Answer
Hi Randy,
Yes, it could be the front springs. If you don't have available a set of race car scales to test with you can just switch right to left on the front springs to see if that is the problem. keep in mind that the Midget is a light car so driver weight is more of a factor than on a big car.
Let me know,
Howard
