MG Car Repair: Midget Brake Master Cylinder, clutch slave cylinder, brake master cylinder

HI Howard,
I have a 74 Midget that sat up for a few years and what was a brand new brake master cylinder has gotten damaged.  The plastic reservoir is broken.  The cylinder seems to be operable, still pumps fluid at least.  Is there a source you know of for a replacement reservoir?  Also, upper bolt on the clutch slave cylinder is a real bugger to get to.  I have tried from the bottom and the access port in the floor. Any suggestions for large hands?

Hi Malcolm,
Try Moss Motors, Victoria British, The Roadster Factory and Engel Imports for the reservoir. If they can't supply one let me know and I will search.

For the slave cylinder you need a 3/8 drive "U" joint and a couple of extensions.
