Military Vehicle Repair: 1994 C1500 cranks but wont start, fuel pump relay, volt system

Question
Aloha!, A friend of mine tried to jump start his truck using a golf cart (36 volts if im not mistaken and yes, I kicked him!).  Now with a new battery installed, it will crank but not start.  The fuel pump doesnt kick on when key is first turned on nor is the MIL light on with the key on.  Would you have any suggestions on where to begin?

Your help is greatly appreciated :)

Thank you in advance,

Wes

Answer
Hi Wes,
I assume you are talking about a civilian truck, even in the military vehicle repair section?
So I assume it is a 12 volt system.
Sure coulda damaged the ecm, blown a fuse or relay, or burnt the pump up.
So start by checking the fuses.
Then see if there is spark.
Then see if there is voltage to the injectors, and prefferably pulsing voltage as the engine is cranked.
Then check the fuel pump relay.
Check the fusible links also.
