Military Vehicle Repair: cucv 1009 batteries, 12 volt batteries, military batteries

I'm in need of replacement batterys for my 1986 CUCV 1009. I would like to replace them with the military batterys it came with, the dual 24V set up
Can anyone tell me where I can buy them ?

memphisequipment.com should have them, or tell you where to get them, but I just use Interstate heavy duty batteries.
Nothing special about them...they are just 12 volt batteries in series.
That is what the military batteries are also, except they are square.
