Military Vehicle Repair: 1986 cucv blazer, fuse box, wind shield

I just purched this cucv with 69000 miles on it head lights initially worked on low beam,but not on high.currently the head lights dont work but directional lights do work, the wind shield wipers also at or around the same time stopped working. i checked the fuse box and that appears to be ok.my black out swithes are in the up position

Turn the blackout lights off. The headlights and turn signale won't work with them on, nor the stop lights.
Seems the military didn't want some plane or sniper shooting at a convoy when a driver hit the brakes.

Check for blown fusuble links over by the batteries.

Multiple electrical problems can point to the connector thru the firewall. Look in it for corroded connections.

I have seen some corroded fuse connectors under the dash on vehicles that have spent time in Saudi.
