Military Vehicle Repair: 1985 M1009 electrical system, memphisequipment, gm dealer

Question
I've got a blazer with electrical parts missing (mostly under the dash).  From your description of the controller for the glow plug relay, that circuit board is one.  Does this have 7 or 8 wires going into a cap on the end where the circuit board plugs into?  Is it something I can get at a GM dealer?  I found the starter relay and plugged it back in and now the starter cranks over but no start.  Is it possible to find a good wiring diagram specific to this vehicle because all my books come up wrong.  Thanks

Answer
Hi Joe,
Memphisequipment.com is the only place I know of to get parts, and I would bet they can get the manuals.
Yes, about seven or eight wires.
If the glow plugs are not connected or working, just give it a shot of either.
The only problem with starting them with either, is if the glow plugs are actually hot.
If you are sure they are not getting power, the either works good.
Make sure the pink wire to the injector pump has 12 volts when the key is in run also. Not 24 volts...just 12.
Everything on that vehicle is 12 volt except the starter and solenoid.
