hi my transmission will only let me put it in reverse, can you help please

I would have to guess you have a problem with either your shifter linkage, poor fluid flow, or faulty transmission control unit.  You will need to have your car brought to a transmission mechanic (or the dealership) to have it inspected and diagnosed more precisely.
