Mitsubishi Repair: car alarm keeps going off, valet mode, eclipse gt

Hello,
I have a 2000 eclipse GT V6. and this last couple of days my car horn and headlights are going on and off everytime i turn my car on and so i disconnected the horn so the horn is not on but the lights are still going off. I dont know what happened, it just all of a sudden started happening. I checked the car battery and the battery to my keyless entry remote but they are both fine. and btw my keyless remote does not work anymore either even though it was working fine a few weeks ago. can you tell me how to fix the alarm system.

On many cars, the keyless entry remote is what is used to active/deactive the car alarm.  If this is a factory alarm system, your owners manual should instruct on how to manually disarm the alarm.  Usually this can entail putting the car into "valet mode", which prevents the alarm from arming even with the kelyess entry remote working.
