Mitsubishi Repair: need to know were the heat sensor @t, mitsubishi gallant, upper radiator hose

i have a 2000 Mitsubishi gallant and i need help!!!..=>
i don't know were the heat sensor is? i know there somewhere in the motor but can someone tell me were exactly there are located at. my car has been over heating .

Omar,
There are normally 2 temperature sensors.  The main one is typically next to the thermostat (attached to the thermostat housing), which is usually by the radiator cap.  Follow the upper radiator hose and you should be able to find it.  The other is usually on the bottom of the radiator itself, though it's main purpose it to tell the fan when to come on.
