Mitsubishi Repair: new engine or rebuild, internet forums, 3000gt

i have a 94 mitt 3000gt with high miles. just wondering if its worth putting a new engine in or just rebuilding? i like the car so i dont want to buy a new one,but im hearing stories of people rebuilding ,then haveing prob less then a year later.

Your best option is to find a reputable engine supplier that specializes in rebuilds.  Most of the time, if you have a working engine, you can exchange it for a pristine rebuild that they can drop right in and be underway.  The tough part if finding one that supplies your engine.  The best would be to ask around to your local mechanics for recommendations.  You may also have luck asking users of internet forums that focus on your car.  Like this one: http://www.3si.org/
