Mitsubishi Repair: Clicking sound in the rear part of the car, car headlights, power antenna

Question
I have a 2000 Mitsubhishi Diamante ES.It has run 11000 miles.Today my battery lost its charge as I forgot to switch off the car headlights. After that I jump started it to recharge and drove for approx 10 min. When I reached home and took my ignition key out, I kept on hearing a clicking sound just like an mechanical clock ticking in the rear side of the car ( near the antenna ).When I put back the ignition key,the sound goes off.

Answer
Sourabh,
If you car has a power antenna, it could be that motor is stuck and is unable to determine when the antenna is completely down.  The only other electrical component I can think of in that area would be the fuel pump, unless you have a CD changer in the trunk.  If the problem continues, have your mechanic check the fuel pump and related electrical components.
Good luck!
