Mitsubishi Repair: 98 eclipse2.4L/no spark!, mitsubishi eclise, crank sensor

Question
I have been working on a 98 Mitsubishi eclise trying to get it running again..I installed a new balance shaft belt and crank sensor cause when the belt gave away it took out the crank position sensor! also the coil pack was replaced and every critical component i can think of has been checked for primary and secondary voltages and everything come back good!checked all the fuses and what relays i thought may be related and still no spark! what do you think may be the problem here? ECM?

Answer
Jerome,
On slightly older Mitsubishis, they all had a problem with under-rated capacitors on the ECM circuit board that would leak out and corrode the board.  I'd recommend pulling the ECM, carefully opening the casing and inspect the board for any damage.
Good luck!
