Mitsubishi Repair: 03 eclipse gs motor mounts, 3rd generation eclipse, eclipse gs

where are the motor mounts located on a 03 eclipse gs 2.4L automatic? Are they hard to change do i half to lift the motor out or can i get to them with out removal of the transmission or engine.

I'm not 100% sure about the 3rd generation Eclipse (like yours) as to the exact location of the motor mounts, but there are usually 4 mounts; front, back, and one on each side.  Usually one of the side mounts is considered to be the transmission mount.  You can remove the mounts yourself, but you can cause damage to your oil pan or even your block if you're not careful.  If you do need to change all of your mounts, you may want to have a mechanic do it if you're not comfortable doing this job yourself.
