Mitsubishi Repair: 95 mitsu. expo 2.4 engine, drive belts, timing belts

Question
A week ago a mechanic went to my home and replace water pump and new timing belts. The problem is its making noise on the area where he fixed it and i can't adjust the timing? The rpm is little bit higher. What do you think the problem?

Answer
Nester,
To replace the timing belt, your mechanic most likely had to remove the other drive belts as well.  If he had overtightened any of those drive belts, they can make a whining noise.  A change in the rpms shouldn't be a problem, but you may want to have your mechanic inspect the belt tension and timing once again.
Good luck!
